October Spotlight: Louisville Girls Leadership

LGL creates a space in which girls from across the city of Louisville can enhance their journey of self-development through education, advocacy, and action.

Each year, a new cohort of sophomores come into the program to learn how to be leaders and how to empower those around them, both at school and in their communities. A diverse group of juniors and seniors run the committee that oversees our annual program -- making key decisions on what the curriculum will focus on from year to year. These topics range from self-care to social media, politics, women in STEM, education, and a variety of other topics. We will wecome our newest group of participants this month including 40 girls representing 20+ public and private high schools in Jefferson County.
