November Spotlight: Hildegard House

Many people hold this nonprofit close to their heart. As the first and only comfort care home, we should value this space and work as community.

“We are, with the help of our community and our volunteers, the only place of emotional, spiritual, and social support for a dying person who otherwise has no home or loved ones to care for them. The services at Hildegard House are designed to help support the quality of living throughout the dying process. We believe every moment matters and strive to provide a home setting with comfort and support while respecting the dignity of every resident. Every resident has access to a hospice team which is composed of a nurse, a nurse’s aide, a social worker and chaplain. Meals, laundry, housekeeping and companionship are a part of the home setting at the Hildegard House.”
